Duties
* Greet guests warmly and manage their seating arrangements
* Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
* Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
* Assist in food preparation when required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
* Handle customer enquiries courteously, resolving any issues efficiently
* Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
* Experience in serving or food preparation roles will be beneficial
* Basic maths skills are necessary for handling bills and transactions
* Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be an asset
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours
* Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
