We're Hiring: Employee Relations (ER) Advisor – 12‑Month FTC

Bright Horizons is looking for an experienced
ER Advisor
to join our team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll partner with managers and HR colleagues to provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance. This role requires an enhanced DBS.
What you'll be doing:
* Advising on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and policy matters
* Coaching managers to confidently handle ER issues
* Supporting organisational change such as restructures and redundancies
* Using HR data to spot trends, mitigate risk, and improve outcomes
* Managing a varied ER caseload and ensuring timely case resolution
* Working closely with HRBPs, Legal, and operational leaders
What we're looking for:
* Strong, hands-on ER experience with high‑volume, complex cases
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
* Experience supporting managers across multiple sites
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and solve problems
* Evidence of CPD (For example - CIPD)
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel when needed
Desirable:
* Experience in the nursery/education sector
* Business coaching qualification
