Project Lead – Home-Based (UK) | Pharmaceutical Industry
We’re looking for a proactive, client-facing Project Lead to join our client, a specialist consultancy partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech organisations. This role suits someone who truly understands how pharma companies operate, their structures, functions, and cross‑team dynamics and who enjoys turning messy or ambiguous challenges into clear, workable solutions.
In this role, you’ll lead client projects end‑to‑end, act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and bring structure and momentum to complex delivery environments. You’ll play a key role in helping clients work more effectively, creating practical tools, processes, and frameworks that make a real difference. Over time, you will take full ownership of projects, reducing the need for senior oversight by leading with confidence, clarity, and autonomy.
You’ll bring a solid understanding of pharma or biotech functions, whether gained in consulting, an agency, or an operational or project management role within industry. You will have experience working with medical affairs teams and an understanding of how to successfully shape a new product launch. You will be confident engaging with clients, curious about understanding the problem behind the problem, and proactive in shaping solutions. You’ll then be hands-on in creating the deliverables, and credible, concise, and structured when presenting recommendations and outputs back to clients.
You can expect high levels of autonomy from day one, with support there when needed. You’ll work with leading life science companies across Europe on diverse projects including training, process optimisation, communications, and compliance initiatives, all aimed at helping clients operate more effectively and bring new treatments to patients.
