Location: Blended between office and home (England and Wales). Time in office negotiable We are recruiting a Senior Creditor Liaison Policy Officer to join our Consumer and Public Services team on a 10 month fixed term contract while the permanent role holder is on secondment. We have a unique insight into emerging trends and issues affecting people, and we use it to work with government, regulators and industry to improve people's lives. As a Senior Creditor Liaison Policy Officer you ll have the unique opportunity to ensure the voices of our debt clients and advisers are heard by decision makers across creditors, regulators and the Government. You ll turn our unique frontline data and insights into compelling arguments and practical recommendations which will help to drive transformational improvements in the experience of people in debt across England and Wales. You ll have strong stakeholder management skills, experience doing research, and ideally knowledge and experience of debt advice or working in the financial services sector. Understanding of the debt advice process and best practice in debt advice as practiced by the free-to-client debt advice sector Ability to contribute to the development of an influential policy research programme, under a broad work theme. Ability to influence senior decision makers change policy and practice, using both formal and informal routes. The National Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
