This role will be based in Wonderly, Haymarket Media Group’s in-house agency serving professional and medical membership clients. Wonderly’s membership sector provides strategy, content, events, and technology services tailored to client needs. Attendance at events to support the attendee experience is essential, requiring regular travel and out-of-hours work.
This is an entry-level position designed to give insight into event delivery within a larger operations team, supporting a diverse portfolio including large exhibitions and conferences.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, you will support the delivery of various professional association events, managing pre-event attendee inquiries, onsite support, and event logistics.
* Manage event inboxes and respond promptly to inquiries.
* Coordinate with the operations team to support registration and abstract management, including testing, communication, and attendee support.
* Send attendee communications, including confirmations and instructions.
* Support invoice processing and payment collection in collaboration with the Credit Control Team.
* Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and ensure timely payments.
* Assist with setting up streaming platforms for hybrid events and manage virtual helpdesks.
* Create reports for clients post-event.
* Source venues and suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and ABPI requirements.
* Support production of event materials and attend events to enhance onsite attendee experience.
* Ensure excellent customer service throughout the attendee journey, from registration to feedback.
* Perform additional tasks to support event growth within Wonderly Membership.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
* Effective time management, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Strong communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite is advantageous.
* Willingness to travel and attend events.
