A well-established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice is looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing Stockport. The Role
As an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior, you will:
* Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
* Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
* Perform audit fieldwork, testing and analytical procedures
* Prepare high-quality working papers and audit documentation
* Support senior team members with audit completion and reporting
* Liaise with clients to gather information and respond to queries
* Ensure work is completed in line with regulatory and internal quality standards
About You
You will ideally have:
* Experience working within an accountancy practice
* Exposure to both accounts preparation and audit work
* Be AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified
* A good understanding of UK GAAP and basic audit principles
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communication skills and a professional approach
* A desire to continue developing your technical skills and career
