Join an award-winning accountancy and tax firm based in the South West London/Surrey area, as a Private Client Tax Advisor. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and grow the advisory side of our tax department, working directly with our Tax Director and clients. Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide high-quality, jargon-free Inheritance Tax (IHT) and estate planning advice directly to clients.
* Explore and deliver other areas of tax planning or compliance you’re passionate about — from Capital Gains Tax (CGT) to non-resident issues to business exit planning.
* Meet clients, build trust, and make them feel supported and understood.
* Design processes, templates, and resource packs that make advisory work repeatable, scalable, and profitable.
* Connect with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), solicitors, and professional introducers to generate referrals and grow the practice.
* Help improve the tools, templates, and documents we use to deliver advice efficiently and consistently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* CTA-qualified advisor with a strong grounding in IHT and personal tax.
* Entrepreneurial mindset — perhaps you’ve always wanted more freedom to shape your own workload or build a service your way.
* Confident in client-facing roles, able to build rapport and explain complex issues clearly.
* Organised and process-minded — you enjoy building better ways to do things and don’t mind getting stuck into the details.
* Ambitious and proactive.
