About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the receipt, inspection, and organization of goods as they arrive at our warehouse. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Goods Receiving and Inspection:
o Unload incoming deliveries and check goods for quantity, quality, and condition.
o Verify received items against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
o Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
2. Inventory Organization:
o Label and store received goods in the correct locations within the warehouse.
o Update inventory records accurately using scanning equipment or warehouse management systems.
o Assist in stock organization and optimization within the inbound department.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
o Accurately complete receiving paperwork and input data into the system as required.
o Maintain records of incoming goods for traceability and stock level management.
4. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
o Communicate any issues with goods or inventory to the inbound supervisor promptly.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
o Keep work areas clean and hazard-free by following warehouse health and safety guidelines.
6. Assistance with Other Warehouse Operations:
o Occasionally assist with outbound, picking, packing, or other departments when required.
o Support stock counts, cycle counts, and other inventory control measures as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Physical Ability: Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling goods in line with health and safety standards.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately check quantities and record information.
* Organizational Skills: Efficient in keeping the inbound department organized and well-documented.
* Basic Computer Skills: Familiar with using scanners, tablets, or warehouse management software.
* Communication Skills: Strong team player, able to communicate effectively within the team and across departments.
