This is a pivotal role in ensuring our diagnostic services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient experience. As the IQIPS Accreditation Lead, you will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to drive compliance with national standards, coordinate accreditation activities, and embed continuous improvement within our Community Diagnostic Centres and wider Trust services. Advert In this role, you will take responsibility for managing the IQIPS accreditation process across relevant services, developing and implementing robust quality assurance systems aligned with accreditation requirements. You will coordinate audits, evidence gathering, and documentation for accreditation submission, while providing expert guidance and training to clinical and administrative teams on IQIPS standards. Monitoring progress, identifying gaps, and delivering action plans to achieve and maintain accreditation will be central to your work. You will also act as the primary liaison with UKAS and other external bodies regarding accreditation matters. We are looking for someone with experience in quality management and accreditation processes within healthcare, and a strong understanding of IQIPS standards and NHS governance frameworks. You will be highly organised, with excellent project management skills, and a confident communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Detailed job description and main responsibilities To support the Lead Healthcare Scientist in the deliver of quality, governance and safety standards across Audiology and Cardio-Respiratory Services. To manage and be accountable for the IQIPS accreditation processes throughout the Physiological Science departments, working collaboratively with all staff and lead the relevant teams to ensure that accreditation is successfully maintained. To support all staff in the clinical service unit to ensure high quality audits and governance processes. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate the Trust values
