This is a great opportunity for a candidate to gain hands-on experience by providing essential daily support to our finance team. This role will be supporting our finance team and requires some accountancy knowledge.Responsibilities:Reporting into our Financial Controller you will have the following duties:Data entry into the accounting software XeroBank ReconciliationsOrganise supplier payment runsAssist the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasksPreparation of data for VAT ReturnsAssist with ad hoc year end work including audit queriesAssist with various month end procedures, adhering to strict deadlinesProcess monthly expenses for the business, liaising directly with employee queriesReview, organise, process and file invoices electronicallyOther ad hoc dutiesExcellent organisational and time management skillsProficient understanding of accounting principlesGood attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy is essentialKnowledge or experience with XeroStrong knowledge of the Microsoft software package, particularly ExcelBenefits:Company pension at 4% of annual salary29 days holidays (pro rata)Cycle2work schemeAviva healthcare cover which includes dental and opticalLife AssuranceProfit Share Bonus & Christmas BonusImportant:The interview process for the Finance Assistant role is made up of 2 stages:1st Interview – An 30 minute interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with our Financial Controller and Head of Talent. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.Onsite interview – A final Interview with our Financial Controller and Finance Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid!
