Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract 6 months We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a rotating shift engineering team on a 6-month contract. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician: Ensure all production equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise unplanned downtime. Attend machine breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance efficiently. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical faults. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Maintain compliance with health & safety, operational, and quality standards. Accurately complete maintenance documentation and records. Required candidate experience: Proven experience attending machine breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities. Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting capability. Good knowledge of electrical systems including motors, circuits, and sensors. Basic PLC knowledge and understanding of control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive maintenance approach. High level of safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures. NVQ Level 3 or an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
