Key Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor Cirencester
We are seeking an experienced professional who can hit the ground running while contributing to the growth of the regional team.
* Professional Status: MRICS Chartered status is highly desirable; we also welcome applications from candidates currently working towards their APC.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience within a Cost Consultancy or PQS environment.
* Sector Agility: Experience with a PQS firm is preferred; however, we are also open to applications from talented individuals within a Main Contractor background who are looking to transition into a consultancy role.
* Education: A Degree in a construction-related subject ideally RICS-accredited in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management).
* Skills: Proven ability to manage your own project workload, strong client liaison skills, and an aptitude for mentoring junior team members.
* Travel: A full, clean UK driving licence is required for project visits in the region.
* Right to Work: Candidates must possess a current, valid right to live and work in the UK. (Sponsorship is not available for this role).
Role Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality cost consultancy services across various government framework projects.
* Managing projects independently while collaborating effectively within the wider team.
* Mentoring and supporting less experienced members of the surveying team.
* Participating in the firm's active CSR and community initiatives.
* Attending the Gloucester office 3 days per week with some flexibility available.
