Permanent opportunity within the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatology Care Group (OGN).
Exciting opportunities have arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join the team as Service Co-ordinators within the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatology Care Group (OGN).
You should have excellent communication, organisation, and administrative skills. The successful candidate will lead admin functions reporting to the care group Assistant Service Manager.
Main duties of the job
The Service Co-ordinator will co-ordinate activity between clinical and administrative teams to ensure that immediate service activity demand requirements are met; escalating, where required, any challenges in delivering activity in line with contract targets.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree / equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience in relevant field: e.g Business Administration, Hospital / General Management, IT or HR
Experience
* Managing administration services
* Administration system design and re-design
* Standard operating procedure development and implementation
* Working closely with senior managers and internal and external stakeholders
* Managing staff and developing teams
* Managing, supporting and developing staff through change
* Forward planning, horizon scanning for problems and troubleshooting under pressure
* Project planning annual cycles of work
* Collating analysing and presenting data
* Implementing Trust or Directorate Policies
* Experience of managing administration services in a healthcare setting
* Experience supporting elective and emergency services
* Experience of working to national targets for the management of patient care eg 18 weeks or specific national cancer targets, antenatal screening
Further Training
* A willingness to undertake training as required to deliver the duties of the post
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships
* Analytical, a keen eye for detail and a systematic and methodical approach to tasks
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills
