Position: Band 6 - Mental Health Practitioner

Hours: Full-time or part-time
Pay rate: £27ph LTD

Role and Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the assessment and management of young people experiencing episodes of crisis within a clear and structured Risk Assessment and Risk Reduction framework and identify therapeutic goals to support the young person and families/carers. You will refer on to specialist in-patient services as necessary or work collaboratively with other services involved to reduce the need for inpatient care.
As a member of the multi-disciplinary team the service will intensively support young people and Direct work with young people will take place in clinical environments including emergency care settings and paediatric wards; community settings such as schools as well as home
environments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Experience completing bio-psycho-social risk assessments
2. CAMHS experience
3. Own vehicle and valid UK driving licence
4. Nursing qualification
