An established Global business based just North Birmingham is seeking an individual to join their HR team as a HR and Payroll Operations Lead. They are looking for someone who can lead a fast-paced team and step into the role with a pro-active attitude and confidence in their attention to detail whilst helping to run a payroll of over 3,000 employees in the UK. Experience of working in a dual role which focuses in on Payroll but also had an experience within broader HR is key for this role. As you will liaise with all levels of organization confidence and efficiency are key as well as time management. Some key responsibilities: Leading a team of three direct reports and helping support their development and career development. Liaising with payroll provider acting as account manager; attending regular business review meetings, ensuring KPIs, tracking performance and errors, reviewing invoices & contracts Supporting with Payroll processes Advising on complex payroll cases where issues have been escalated Annual Pay Review processing Keeping Pay bands up to date and circulate Annual Bonus scheme processing Processing redundancy payments and settlement agreement payments Pension administration and account management Benefits account management between all parties, ensuring flow of information is accurate & documented. HR support including processing new starters and leavers, variations to contracts and offer letters, processing maternity and paternity leave and keeping HR files up to date. The ideal candidate will have had prior Payroll and HR Management experience either inhouse or outsourced whilst having led on processes such as annual pay reviews, bonuses and payroll benefits. You will have a strong attention to detail and be up to date on all UK legislation. In return, the successful candidate will be given a generous salary of up to £50,000 per year plus a car allowance of just over £7,000 a year on top of your salary alongside a strong bonus scheme up to 20% of your annual salary and strong benefits.
