About the Role
We are working with a fantastic SEN school in Bedford that is looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to start working with them from September 2025. The school is particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists.
Responsibilities
If you are passionate about working with children with additional needs and are up for an exciting, challenging, yet rewarding role in the education and training sector, this could be the job for you! Some experience working with children in various settings would be beneficial, but personality and motivation within this field are just as important!
The pupils have many needs including Social, Emotional, Mental Health, Autism, and behavioral difficulties. Therefore, the school is looking for committed individuals who want to work there for at least 12 months, as consistency of staff is vital for the children's progression.
