We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As a Senior Hardware Engineer for our Christchurch location you will work within a multi-disciplinary team designing electronic circuits for motor controllers for powered wheelchairs, and peripherals such as LCD joysticks, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity units. Reporting to a project manager, you will be exposed to all stages of the product development. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in the role. You will be self-motivated, goal driven, and a team player who can enthusiastically collaborate with other engineers.

Your Challenge
* Design and development of electronic circuits for motor controllers for powered wheelchairs, and peripherals such as colour LCD joysticks, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity units
* Prototyping and testing of novel circuitry, schematic capture, simulation, and PCB design
* Thermal management techniques
What You Bring
* 4+ yrs experiences and a relevant degree in hardware engineering, electronics or similar
* 10+ years of experience with no engineering degree
The following skills/experience would be advantageous but not essential:
* Knowledge of Altium PCB design
* Experience in developing motor controllers in a regulated market
* Power electronics
