This is one of the industries most exciting projects to be involved in, helping manufacture London's newest tube fleet. This will involve working out of Siemens Mobility's brand new state-of-the-art facility purpose built for this project! Position Summary: As a mechanical assembler, you will be experienced working in a safe manner, adhering to Siemens 4 steps to zero harm. You will be carrying out assembly tasks on mechanical parts, components, assemblies/sub-assemblies. Responsibilities Include: * Mounting of components, units or pre-assemblies * Assembly of mechanical components * Preparation work, drilling, grinding and riveting * Pipe fitting/bonding * Documentation of activities (Glass or Paper systems) * Utilising pneumatic, hydraulic and other fitting systems * Working closely to production instructions including all correct tooling * Conduct regular quality, sigh...
