Job Description
1. Own two concurrent projects from start to finish, including a casino project and one additional project- others in the pipeline
2. Lead daily onsite operations; ensure safety, quality, schedule, budget, and stakeholder alignment.
3. Drive procurement, subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change management.
4. Coordinate closely with the COO and partner with HR/leadership as we hire and build the Norfolk team.
5. Implement and optimize project controls and reporting in Procore and Autodesk.
6. Mentor emerging team members as headcount grows; help establish local best practices and culture.
7. Maintain strong client and trade partner relationships and represent Pillar in the Norfolk market.

The Successful Applicant
8. 7+ years of construction project management experience.
9. Background in drywall or rainscreen systems preferred (not required).
10. Strong interiors experience welcomed and considered.
11. Proven track record delivering complex commercial projects from precon through closeout.
12. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Procore, and Autodesk.
13. Experience with On‑Screen Takeoff (OST) is a plus.
14. Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required).
15. Leadership mindset with the desire to be the foundational hire for a new office.
