We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join the team at a stunning hotel in the Lake District. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the UKs most scenic and peaceful locations, supporting a high-quality hospitality team in delivering outstanding food and service. About the Role: As a Catering Assistant, youll play a key role in the daily running of the kitchen and dining areas. Youll be responsible for supporting the kitchen team, ensuring food preparation areas are clean, assisting with food service, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards at all times. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen team Keeping kitchen and service areas clean and well-organised Ensuring all hygiene, health, and food safety standards are met Supporting with dishwashing and general kitchen duties Assisting with serving meals during busy service times Reporting any maintenance or food safety concerns to the appropriate staff What Were Looking For: No previous experience is required just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
