Location: Harrogate (3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to c.£30,000 DOE + Generous Weekend and Bank Holiday On‑Call Allowance

IT Helpdesk Technician Responsibilities
* Deliver 1st line IT support both remotely and on‑site
* Manage and resolve incidents via the IT Service Management platform
* Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and corporate devices
* Support Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
* Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
* Oversee device management and security through Microsoft Intune
* Provide VoIP support (3CX) and assist with basic networking issues (DHCP, DNS, VPN)
* Support Apple devices, including iPads, MacBooks, and macOS
* Contribute to hybrid cloud migration projects and internal IT initiatives
* Participate in the weekend on‑call support rota (with allowance)
IT Helpdesk Technician Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support / Helpdesk role
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
* Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
* Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for device management and security
* VoIP (3CX) and basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VPNs)
* Ability to support Apple technology confidently
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
* Based in or near Harrogate
Desirable:
* Windows Server administration
* RMM tool experience (e.g., Datto, Zendesk, Freshdesk)
* Knowledge of patch management, scripting, and automation
* Experience with Microsoft CRM, SQL, or .NET
* Previous work in healthcare or regulated industries
