Do you want to be part of innovative and highly motivated Senior Nurse team who are passionate about improving the care we deliver to a varied patient group? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Matron to join us within the Surgical Division to complement the existing Matrons and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care and lead on quality improvement initiatives within the Division. Excellent communication skills and strong visible leadership will enable you to develop and empower your teams to deliver improvement projects. You will also have a passion for the development of staff whilst creating a conducive learning environment across your clinical areas.

Main duties of the job

You will have extensive clinical experience and have been in a leadership role within an acute hospital setting. Matrons are pivotal in the delivery of professional standards and embodying values and behaviours, therefore you will work closely with the Senior Nursing structure to ensure these are upheld across the organisation.
