Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK, where you will play a key role in supporting vital Pharmacy Services. As a Pharmacy Administrator within the Education and Training team, you will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care by ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes. Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Pharmacy Services Education and Training team.
* Organise and coordinate meetings and training events, including booking venues and preparing documentation.
* Prepare agendas, collate papers, take minutes and ensure actions are followed up promptly.
* Manage diaries, communications and act as the first point of contact for telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
* Maintain accurate records and update HR systems, including SSTS and eESS.
* Liaise effectively with internal departments, external partners and stakeholders at all levels.
* Support the monitoring and progress of training programmes and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.


Qualifications

* HNC/SVQ III in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages with an ECDL or equivalent qualification or experience.
* Proven experience in an administrative or project support role within a busy office environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Ability to work independently using initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
* Flexible approach with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
