Job Description
Hywel Dda Local Health Board is seeking a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist to join our team in Carmarthen. This role is essential for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Responsibilities
As a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal issues to develop individualized treatment plans. You will implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation strategies. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, sharing insights and recommendations regarding patient management. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with health board policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experiences
* Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
* Experience working in a musculoskeletal physiotherapy setting
* Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
