The role of a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator is based on a Warehouse Operative role, but with distinct additional responsibilities. In essence, it is to ensure that the TePe UK warehouse is prepared, ready for the daily routine whilst also facilitating the logistics requirements of the business. Tasks/Responsibilities: To assist the TePe Education / extended clinical team, marketing department and PRM’s. Organise deliveries/collections of display/sample stock to and from external venues. Ensuring that the warehouse is prepared, ready for the daily working routine. Carrying out daily service checks on Fork-Lift Trucks using the fork-lift “check list” Printing picking lists & delivery notes. Picking customer orders using picking lists, for both bulk and small customer orders. Checking picked orders against a Picking List. Ensuring that all Labels, Delivery Notes, Pallet Labels and Delivery Labels are as per specific customer requirements. Day-to-day of dispatch and goods-in processing. Operating a fork-lift truck in a safe and controlled manner. Loading palletised orders on to delivery vehicles. Unloading palletised goods from inbound delivery vehicles. Checking deliveries coming into the warehouse against Delivery Notes and reporting any damages/discrepancies. At the end of the working day ensure that all despatched orders have been released for invoicing. Ensuring the warehouse is tidy, secure, and all unnecessary electrical equipment is switched off and is ready for the following day. Ensuring a working environment which is safe and without risks to the health, safety and welfare of employees and visitors. Supporting Customer Services and all other department as and when required. Deputising and supporting the Warehouse Manager. Undertake whatever training is deemed appropriate. Occasional overnight stays/travel is a requirement of the role. Occasional deliveries/trade show set-ups. Essential requirements: Warehouse/warehouse administration experience. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and a confident computer user. Pro-active, hands-on and willing to learn. Good communication skills. Team player, able to work comfortably in groups and alone. Preferred requirements: A current fork-lift licence – but full training will be provided. First aid training. Salary : £30,000.00 per annum Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm Friday 8am – 3pm Potential for some flexibility. Based in Wells, Somerset.
