The Role
The college is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Sport to deliver high‑quality teaching across BTEC Sport Level 3 courses. You will join a vibrant and supportive department committed to helping students achieve their full potential through engaging, challenging, and industry‑relevant learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging BTEC Sport lessons, combining theory and practical elements in line with course specifications.
* Support students in completing coursework and preparing for externally assessed units.
* Inspire learners to develop confidence, professionalism, and a passion for sport and physical activity.
* Contribute to the wider Sport faculty, including enrichment, trips, and opportunities linked to the Academy of Sport.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Degree in Sport, Physical Education, or a related discipline.
* Experience teaching BTEC Sport (Level 2 or Level 3) or similar vocational qualifications.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of vocational assessment.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour‑management skills.
* Commitment to supporting young people to achieve academically and personally.
