We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is hands-on, highly motivated, and a great team player! The candidate will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from prototype to productization, and will play a crucial role in the mechanical design and qualification of future KLA products.
The engineer will support the design, building, and qualification of a wide range of KLA equipment and integrated components. The candidate is expected to provide solutions for tooling, test fixtures, and prototypes to validate concepts and assess risks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the complete mechanical design process, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost management, and scheduling.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design requirements, implement best practices, and develop functional product designs.
3. Design mechanical components using Solid Edge CAD software or similar tools.
4. Conduct or oversee CFD and FEA analyses to optimize airflow and mechanical design of semiconductor equipment.
5. Create 3D mechanical models and 2D drawings with appropriate tolerances.
6. Work with suppliers to develop components and sub-assemblies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
7. Participate in the full design/build cycle, including design, CAD modeling, reviews, procurement, system integration, and testing.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Edge.
* Experience in a development and design environment.
* Design experience for CNC machining is desirable.
* Experience with FEA tools is a plus.
* Understanding of CE/SEMI compliance requirements is beneficial.
