Role Description
As a Lead Sales/Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with global product teams, external customers, and the EU Sales team to understand challenges, provide technical expertise, and design integration solutions across Europe. You'll work closely with product development to prioritize features supporting customer adoption of Entegral platforms. This role involves software, systems, integration, and data engineering responsibilities. You will evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and offer improvement recommendations. Direct interaction with our AVP of Sales and customers will ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with technical teams. Some travel within Europe and internationally will be required.
Responsibilities
* Conduct consultations with potential customers to understand their challenges and requirements.
* Provide technical guidance to external partners on platform capabilities and integrations.
* Develop architectural diagrams for API service connections, external system callouts, and data exchange protocols.
* Partner with sales to identify leads, support negotiations, and communicate platform benefits.
* Ensure seamless platform adoption, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
* Customize solutions based on customer needs and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Develop and deliver product demos, showcasing platform benefits.
* Prepare proposals and ROI analyses to communicate value propositions.
* Maintain relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support and identifying upselling opportunities.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test libraries to ensure quality software releases.
* Analyze and resolve platform issues, leveraging SOA.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices.
* European and international travel up to 20% required.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience with object-oriented programming languages such as JAVA, Node.js, or SpringBoot.
* Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, including migration scripts (SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo).
* Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
* Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
* Experience in micro-service environments.
* Proven ability to develop large, complex applications.
* Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, GCP) and cloud-native computing (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse audiences including executives, customers, sales, and technical teams.

Additional Information
Salary: Competitive
Location: Work from home (must be based within the UK). Occasional travel to our European HQ in Egham and Entegral office in Leeds. Up to 20% travel within Europe and internationally.
