Buyer Admin Assistant
Location: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8:30am to 5:30pm)

Role Overview
As the Buyer Admin Assistant, you will be an integral part of the buying team. The overall objective will be to support the business in all aspects of buying and product information management.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate data entry, product management and creation and ad hoc purchasing admin duties. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining our buying/forecast system by ensuring accurate data entry. Furthermore, you will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating terms to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of production planning and logistics
* Experience using purchasing software
* Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, more specifically Excel
* Strong communication ability to influence both verbally and written
* Good attention to detail
* Enjoy working in a busy team
* Experience working with suppliers
* Good analytical skills with the ability to produce clear reports
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and corresponding management
* Experience using purchasing software
* Ability to take initiative with the ability to work independently whilst taking ownership of areas of responsibility
Typical Day
* Product creation and maintenance
* Formatting and analysing all internal forecasts ahead of the new seasons to support the buy
* Communicating with our suppliers and Fareast office for operational purchases
* Working closely with the Buying Director and providing support when necessary
