Receptionist/Host - Double Red Duke & Mason’s Arms – evenings & weekends included Who We Are… Country Creatures Pubs, Restaurant & Rooms Country Creatures opened The Double Red Duke in May 2021, a new addition to the family of pubs & inns overlooked by husband-and-wife duo, Sam & Georgie Pearman. The Duke boasts 19 bedrooms, Shepherds Hut Therapy room, Kitchen garden and a menu catered around open-fire cooking. Think beautiful traditional Cotswolds pub with a luxury new makeover. The Mason’s Arms Inn then joined in 2024, DRD Bicester Village in 2025 and the Wild Duck in Ewen opened its doors in March 2026. The Role… We are looking for the warmest, most hospitable people out there to join our team of experienced professionals, you will be helping to run a key part of our operation. Main duties will be checking guests in and out, being first point of contact for all guests walking through our doors and taking them to their tables. The role will also include taking reservations and answering calls, arranging extra treats for special occasions, taking payments for rooms and extras. Communicating with various on-site teams to make sure our guests’ expectations are exceeded. Essential Experience: · Knowledge of hotel systems beneficial, i.e., Rezlynx, SevenRooms, Fresha · Previous experience within hospitality or service-based industry · Clear communication skills · Very well organised & good people skills · Warm and friendly personality · Team player · Punctual, reliable and trustworthy · Sense of urgency & can-do attitude Details & Benefits… Salary: £13 per hour plus tronc. Schedule/Working hours: Full Time, 30-40 hours per week, mixture of early and late shifts (7.00-15.00 or 14.00-22.00) and some mid shifts as and when business requires. We also welcome part time applicants but must be able to work some evenings and weekends. Candidates may also be considered for senior roles, depending on previous experience.
