Some of the duties and responsibilities are: Provide classroom support for students with speech, language and communication, social and emotional difficulties through: • Supporting individual and group work to raise core skills, supporting Personalised Learning Plans and help students access the national curriculum • Assisting students to access the school curriculum and in the use of resources - including IT • General support to students in line with Education, Health and Care Plans or planned provision • Assisting in the assessment of students’ attainment and with the recording and monitoring of students’ progress • Assisting with the supervision of students on school trips/visits You will have attained GCSE grade 4 or above (or an equivalent qualification) and ideally, will have experience of working with children or young people in an education setting.
