Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing company based in Yeovil to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of payroll processes within a supportive and well-established organisation.
The role
This is a stand-alone payroll position, and your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of the company-wide payroll. Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality are essential, as you will be trusted with sensitive employee information.
About you
To succeed in this role, you ideally have prior experience in a similar position, a strong understanding of payroll, and solid knowledge of accounting principles. You will be detail-oriented, organised and have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Monthly & weekly payroll administration support to include new starters, leavers and benefit changes
* Update and maintain the benefits portal
* Assist with year end transactions, including P60's, etc
* Monitoring the payroll inbox and act on queries and escalations
* Any other payroll duties as required
What the client has to offer
* A salary level of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
* Fully office-based
