This role is to effectively manage and take full ownership of the seminars and events programme in the UK to maximise new business and close opportunities.
Taking responsibility for driving event performance to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the Events Department.

What the role entails:
* Developing the growth and success of the Events Department, a key revenue source for Peninsula.
Ensuring effective management of all seminars and events to maximise new business opportunities.
Analyzing event data (delegate quality, registrations, execution, performance) with comprehensive reporting.
Providing weekly updates on event performance and attending Sales Operations team meetings.
Writing and proofreading marketing copy and literature related to seminars and events.
Overseeing team workflow, assigning tasks, projects, and activities.
Building collaborative relationships with Business Development Managers, Regional Managers, Business Sales Team, and Floor Managers to ensure optimal event execution and opportunity maximization.
Monitoring and reviewing key event metrics such as sales revenue, conversion rates, attendance, and cancellations.
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic changes.
Owning the event programme and departmental targets, including planning, mapping future events, managing ongoing programmes, and developing new event types.
Skills required:
* Experience managing successful seminars or events for new business acquisition.
* Experience working with CRM systems.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
* Confidence in delivering event analysis and recommendations to Board-level members.
* Positive attitude to enhance performance and drive accountability.
* Strong communication skills with internal and external parties.
* Ability to motivate, lead, and coach a small team.
