A key client of ours is looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team in Bolton, on a fixed term basis for 9 months.
Main Responsibilities Required of the 3rd Line Support Engineer:
* First point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd Line Support Engineers
* Work closely with the IT Service Desk Manager to define and improve processes
* Create and build knowledge across the service desk and wider team
* Manage server accounts
* Support of cloud telephone systems
* Support networking equipment
Key Experience Required of the 3rd Line Support Engineer
* 3-5 years experience within a 2nd/3rd Line Support role within a technical support desk or MSP
* Experience with server environments (Windows)
* Active Directory/Microsoft 365/Azure
* Understanding of virtualisation
* Understanding of network technologies
The successful 3rd Line Support Engineer will be paid a pro-rata'd salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
