About the Role
Are you a passionate leader ready to make a difference? Join us at our Bognor Regis Resort as a Team Planning Scheduler in our Finance Department! This is your chance to support our Resort Teams by accurately forecasting, reporting, analyzing, and rostering our team members. Your efforts will ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in both short and long-term planning. You’ll need to assess and implement changes swiftly to meet business needs and financial budgets, all while creating capability-led rotas. You will manage large volumes of data and utilize our internal systems to drive the business forward, maximizing available hours and strengthening our objectives.
Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting reporting and reviewing roster compliance.
* Managing and implementing effective ways of working within SAM.
* Ensuring all KPIs are met while factoring in future planning to meet forecasted demand.
* Identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
* Understanding team productivity levels and headcount planning.
* Maximizing efficiency by allocating team members based on availability.
This role is based in the Finance office, with typical working hours covering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note, this is a fixed-term position for 6 months.
About You
To thrive in this specialist role, you should have:
* Previous experience in team planning and forecasting.
* Desirable experience with volume rostering and a strong knowledge of our Workplace Online / SAM rostering platform.
You will collaborate with leaders across various departments, so building and enhancing working relationships is key. If you enjoy taking ownership of challenges, have a keen eye for detail, and are a driver of change with a lean thinking mindset, we want to hear from you!
Additionally, you should possess:
* The ability to plan, manage, and execute effective rosters.
* Strong organizational skills and an understanding of designated budgets.
