Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Highway Delivery Manager for a contract position. This opportunity involves working on the Area 3 Maintenance and Response (M&R) Contract, focusing on the maintenance of motorways and trunk roads in the South East of England. The role is based at the Motorway Maintenance Compound.
Responsibilities
* Managing highway maintenance projects within the Area 3 ASC contract
* Ensuring compliance with strategic highways and section HA04 regulations
* Overseeing the delivery of maintenance operations on motorways and trunk roads
* Coordinating with various stakeholders including National Highways and contractors
* Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery to standards
* Implementing safety management systems and ensuring all works comply with health and safety regulations
* Reporting on project statuses and maintenance activities
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the projects
Qualifications
* Experience in highway maintenance and delivery
* In-depth knowledge of strategic highways and section HA04 regulations
* Hold a CMSTS card
* Strong project management skills with attention to detail
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
* Proven capability in reporting and documentation
* Ability to work on a contract basis in Winchester
