Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced, hands‑on Quality Engineer ready to ensure industry‑leading quality standards for a global engineering business?
A successful engineering company with global reach requires a Quality Engineer to oversee quality control & assurance across all operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* QA/QC on mechanical and weld materials based on drawings and test specs.
* Inspection of fabricated components.
* Mechanical inspections for completed assemblies, measurements and inspections.
* Play a key role in the quality vendor management process.
* Certification package preparation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* ISO Certified Auditor, with 9001 / 45001 / ISO14001 experience.
* Good understanding of lean tools.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Knowledge of lean six sigma in manufacturing.
* Willingness to travel to client sites in Aberdeen, Birmingham and any other required locations in the UK.
* Experience using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers etc).
* Full UK driving licence – you’ll be required to travel to customer locations occasionally.
