The Buyer will be an integral part of the Procurement team and will support the Procurement Manager to source and manage a varied group of engineering components at the best possible price, delivery and quality, including the identification and conversion of requirements from BoMs. You will support the Procurement Manager in making improvements in purchasing processes which will ensure efficiencies are met within the business.
Duties: The Buyer will be responsible for:
Requesting for quotations.
Raising purchase orders and producing Purchase Order numbers.
Leading negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost reductions.
Maintaining and developing relationships with supply base.
