Receptionist 37.5 hours per week required for highly motivated, innovative, forward-thinking training practice serving 16,500 patients in the leafy suburb of Wilmslow, Cheshire. Experience desirable but full training will be given.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and providing general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing information, and assisting patients as required.
To act as the central point of contact for patients, distributing information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

Job responsibilities
The core responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring the appointment system, processing requests, answering calls, signposting patients, responding to requests from patients and external agencies, coding data onto EMIS Web, photocopying, data entry, managing queries, conducting system searches, maintaining a tidy workspace, supporting clinical staff, handling emails, scanning documentation, and managing prescriptions and supplies. Also, supporting team development and participation in rotas and PPG matters.
