What you will be doing: Working in a busy, centralised post-room operation in Newport-prepping, scanning, printing, enveloping, and dispatching high‑volume inbound/outbound mail using a range of specialist machines, while rotating across different functions to keep the workflow moving. Managing electronic documentation channels-processing digital submissions, following SOP documentation, and using the virtual delivery solution to accurately input, route, and record data. Supporting MOJ resourcing vetting tasks-receiving Criminal Record Certificates, verifying authenticity (e.g. watermarks/security features), checking for tampering, logging outcomes, and returning documents to candidates, with integrity and attention to detail. Handling the digital entry of Accounts Payable invoices for SOP customers- which processes and validates a high‑volume of records (millions per year), ensuring any fallout from the system is processed in line with documented procedures ensuring accuracy Using and learning multiple bespoke systems-operating a variety of document management tools and mailing kit, applying tech‑savvy problem solving, and maintaining accurate records across platforms in a fast‑paced environment. Working on-site Monday to Friday-performing hands‑on, manual handling tasks while upholding standards and collaborating with colleagues to meet daily service targets in a fast-paced, quality‑focused environment.
