Your responsibilities will include: Managing and assisting on motor, employer’s liability, public liability and disease claims Running your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex disputes Drafting pleadings, reports and detailed client advice Investigating claims, including liaising with policyholders and taking witness statements Reviewing and interpreting medical evidence and expert reports Attending court hearings, case reviews and pre-trial meetings Ensuring compliance with client SLAs, reporting standards and reserving requirements Maintaining accurate file management and correspondence Building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders Supporting business development and wider team initiatives About you This role would suit an Insurance Litigation/Personal Injury Solicitor who: Has 2–5 years’ PQE (guideline level, flexibility for the right candidate) Brings experience in personal injury litigation (defence experience beneficial but not essential) Is comfortable managing files within a fast-paced environment Demonstrates strong drafting and analytical skills Has an interest in advocacy and court work Understands client service delivery, including SLAs and reporting standards Takes a proactive, solutions-focused approach Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and driven team The environment You’ll be part of a growing Belfast office with strong ambitions and a reputation for delivering high-quality defence insurance work.
