Health & Safety Advisor - Norfolk
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team based in Norfolk. This role involves supporting high-security civils projects, with occasional travel to other sites as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure SHEQ compliance.
2. Provide guidance and support on SHEQ issues, including developing site-specific policies.
3. Manage permits and inspections, ensuring documentation accuracy.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions.
5. Coordinate SHEQ training to ensure team safety readiness.
6. Monitor and report on SHEQ performance indicators, recommending improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Hold IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications, or working towards them.
2. Qualified in SMSTS (Units 1-3).
3. Experience in utility or construction sites with knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
4. Preferred: Lifting Operations accreditation.
5. Proficient in preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and incident reports.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
7. Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
