Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN6)
Salary: £160 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teacher to work in a school setting in Doncaster (DN6).
This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons, support students with a range of needs, and help them build confidence, independence, and academic progress.
Main Responsibilities of a SEND Teacher:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet SEND needs
* Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support individual learning requirements
* Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear feedback
* Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to provide effective support
* Promote positive behaviour and support students with emotional regulation
* Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals regarding student progress
To be a SEND Teacher, what you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with SEND is essential
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and SEND practices
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
