The Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our Terminals operations. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of our processes and helps keep everything on track.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and wider team
* Maintain and update internal databases, records, and documentation, service records, loler certs
* Assist with scheduling and coordination of repairs or servicing events
* Help identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
* Liaise with internal departments and external vendors/suppliers
* Prepare reports, and other documentation as needed
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
About You
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
* Previous experience in an administrative or operational support role is a plus
* Any relevant qualifications or experience specific to your industry – heavy plant
