Main duties of the job Ensure that the day-to-day processing of orders occurs in a timely fashion demonstrating value for money. Provide advice and support on placing requisitions. Ensuring Stakeholders have the knowledge in the use of the i-proc system (Oracle) effectively and how invoice notifications work and what is required to resolve them. To support the Clinical and Non-clinical teams in the provision of all procurement and contracting activities and to support the delivery of the departmental work plan. Supports line management by reliably prioritising and managing own work. Support the organisation in obtaining best value in sourcing supplies and services. Support the Senior Procurement team in ensuring compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations, Standing Financial Instructions, rules, policies, and procedures. To support the Clinical and Non-clinical teams to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged in the procurement processes. Flagging any potential non-contractual or non-catalogue items that could be potentially procured more efficiently via the catalogue spend to Senior Procurement Managers.
