Key Responsibilities Pupil Support Support pupils with a range of needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Work with individuals or small groups to support learning, communication, and personal development. Assist pupils with personal care, mobility, and medical needs where required, in line with school policies and training. Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using agreed strategies and behaviour support plans. Learning Support Support the delivery of tailored learning activities under the direction of the class teacher. Adapt resources and activities to meet individual pupil needs. Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence. Support pupils during lessons, therapy sessions, break times, and school activities. Monitoring & Recording Observe and monitor pupil progress and behaviour. Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to reviews, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and reports as required.
