Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and creative tutor to help re-engage an 8-year-old learner with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in education through tailored, supportive sessions.
Your role will involve:
1. Delivering engaging academic sessions adapted to the child’s needs.
2. Encouraging participation and building confidence in learning.
3. Providing consistent support across five days per week for 15 hours total.
Ideal Candidate =
4. Experience working with children with ASD or other SEND needs.
5. Ability to create a positive, sensory-aware learning environment.
6. Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.
7. Commitment: 12 weeks minimum.
8. Safeguarding compliance required (Enhanced DBS or willing to apply).
