Job Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention, while identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
* Understand client needs and objectives to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
* Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, design, finance) to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
* Monitor account performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
* Resolve client issues and complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of all account activity using CRM tools.
* Forecast and track key account metrics.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven work experience as an Account Manager in the Architecture & Design (A&D) and hospitality sector.
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
* Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
* Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in interior design, furniture, or luxury goods industries.
* Creative problem-solving.
* Understanding of product lifecycle and client support.
