Job Title: Concession Manager and Hair Stylist
Location: Luxury Hotel in Mayfair, London
Hours: This is a full-time position (five days per week on a shift pattern to include two weekends a month). You will be on-site at the hotel between the hours of 10 to 6 (flexibility is required depending on client requirements). This is a two chair concession so you must be comfortable working in a quiet, high end environment.

Position Overview
Reporting to our Head of Brand Development, you'll have the wonderful opportunity to lead our prestigious Josh Wood Concession within a luxury Mayfair hotel, creating an intimate sanctuary where every client feels truly valued and cared for.
At the heart of this role is our client-led philosophy you'll cultivate genuine relationships with each guest, understanding their unique needs and desires to create personalised experiences that go beyond beautiful hair. Your warm, intuitive approach will ensure that every interaction feels personal and meaningful, turning first-time visitors into devoted clients.
As both a skilled leader and talented stylist, you'll nurture and inspire your colleagues while personally delivering exceptional hair styling services. You'll thoughtfully coordinate team schedules to ensure seamless service delivery, all while maintaining the welcoming, luxurious atmosphere that makes our concession a sought-after destination.
This role is perfect for someone who believes that exceptional hair artistry begins with genuine human connection where listening to our clients, understanding their lifestyle, and anticipating their needs creates the foundation for truly transformative experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Concession Manager

Customer Experience : Ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all clients.

Operations : Managing inventory, scheduling/reservations and ensuring the concession is well maintained and presentable at all times.

Glam Squad Leadership : Oversight of all third party creatives utilising the concession space to ensure they meet with expected standards of performance, appearance, hygiene procedures and timeliness.

Partner Relations : Onsite point of contact for hotel team members (including but not limited to Spa Team, Concierge Team and Events Team).

Visual Merchandising : Suggesting and executing visual merchandising improvements to enhance the customer experience and ensuring merchandise is stocked and well presented.

Hair Stylist Responsibilities

Client Consultation : Assessing client needs and preferences to provide tailored styling services.

Hair Cutting & Styling : Providing best in class cuts, blow drying services and event hair.

Customer Service : Providing exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.

Product Knowledge : Knowledgeable about a range of hair products and their uses.

Professional Development : Keeping abreast of latest trends and techniques.

Role Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience as a senior stylist.

First-class communication skills

Ability to act as brand ambassador at all time

Self starter with a proactive attitude.

This is a multi-faceted role and you will be required to work closely with the Spa Reception team to ensure your column is optimised, and to utilise any white space time to work with the hotel teams (spa, events, guest relations and concierge) to continue to grow and improve the concession.

Experience of working with high net worth individuals and A List clients providing luxury customer service

Proven complaint escalation experience and ability to resolve in the moment, face-to-face.
