Our client (A High Public Sector Organization) is looking a staff officer in Administration/Project and Programme Management based in Lisburn

Rate of Pay: £19.59ph (Weekly Pay)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Lisburn BT28

Hours: core hours: 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:30
occasional all-day site visits/ off-site meetings
Monday to Friday

Hybrid and Flexi working

Role Details:

The purpose of the role is to provide governance to projects and escalate issues to risk registers as required. The postholder will be responsible for tracking progress, checking invoices prior to payment, proving secretariat support for meetings and drafting correspondence briefings.
main duties:
a) Governance & financial management
b) Invoice checking/ processing
c) drafting Correspondence &producing briefings

Essential -

* Access NI check
* Degree
* A degree and 1 year full-time equivalent experience. Relevant post graduate study or postdoctorate experience will also count as experience
OR
HND/ HNC with 3 years full-time equivalent experience
OR
equivalent qualification/ experience - the onus is on the applicant to provide evidence
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Good written and oral communication skills including preparation of briefings/ correspondence

Desired -

• governance and project management experience
• financial management experience
• full clean driving licence
• interest in environment

A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
